20 Jatinegara Residents Participate in Free Job Training

A total of 20 residents of Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, participated in the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) training organized by the East Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD).

The training will last 20 working days, from April 13 to May 11, 2026, and will cover two specialties namely light motorcycle automotive and basic sewing or fashion design. Ten participants will participate in each speciality.
Head of the Economic and Development Section of Jatinegara Urban Village, Triwulan Woro Astuti, said that the training participants are local residents who came from various elements, such as PKK cadres, Karang Taruna, and the general public.

Meanwhile, a resident of Pulo Jahe Flats, RT 06/05, Jatinegara Urban Village, Sri Wahyuni (51) admitted that she was enthusiastic about taking part in the training so that she would have skills of business.
"I want to have sewing skills, so I joined this training instead of just staying at home," she admitted.
